The opportunity
You'll be the primary technical point of contact for LoopMe's demand partners, owning integrations from onboarding through ongoing troubleshooting and optimization. You'll work closely with Account Managers to keep every integration technically sound and set up for long-term performance. You bring high ownership, clear communication, and curiosity about how systems actually work. You reporting to VP Demand Partnerships.
What you'll do
• Own the technical relationship with LoopMe demand partners, from onboarding and integration through ongoing troubleshooting and optimization.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across the Open RTB stack, including bid request/response validation, VAST/MRAID rendering, and SDK behavior.
• Write SQL queries and use Kibana to proactively surface revenue-impacting issues before clients notice them.
• Partner with Account Managers to ensure integrations meet technical best practices and support long-term performance.
• Escalate product and engineering bugs with clear reproduction steps, impact analysis, and prioritization recommendations.
• Build and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and runbooks for internal and external use.
• Support third-party integrations end-to-end, from scoping requirements through launch testing and go-live validation.
• Translate client technical feedback into structured product requests that improve the platform.
What you'll bring
Essential:
• Software development experience in any language (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#) - you read code, write scripts, and understand how systems communicate.
• Deep working knowledge of OpenRTB 2.x - you can read a bid request/response and immediately identify what's wrong.
• Proficiency with VAST and MRAID specifications, with the ability to troubleshoot creative rendering issues.
• Strong SQL skills - you write queries independently to investigate issues, not just run pre-built reports.
• 5+ years in a technical role at an SSP, DSP, exchange, or agency trading desk, debugging reporting discrepancies and integration issues across complex ad tech stacks.
Nice to have:
• Experience with Charles Proxy, browser dev tools, or equivalent network debugging tools.
• Familiarity with mobile advertising fundamentals and inventory transparency frameworks (SDKs, MMPs, SKAN, GDPR, TCF, CCPA, ads.txt/sellers.json).
• Prior mobile SDK integration or development experience, or exposure to log-level data analysis on large datasets.
• Familiarity with identity solutions (IDFA, GAID, Privacy Sandbox), or experience with Looker or similar BI tools.
