The Senior Solution Consultant develops technically sound, commercially viable, and customer-focused warehouse automation concepts during the pre-sales phase. The role translates customer requirements and operational data into clear solution concepts, layouts, material flows, performance criteria, assumptions, risks, and proposal inputs.
Understand customer operations, business objectives, constraints, and decision criteria.
Review available data, specifications, and request-for-proposal documentation.
Identify missing or unclear information and coordinate clarification.
Define key requirements, assumptions, scope boundaries, and interfaces.
Develop warehouse automation concepts, layouts, material flows, equipment strategies, and capacity requirements.
Evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions based on customer needs, technical feasibility, value, and risk.
Coordinate required analysis, calculations, and validation activities.
Prepare solution documentation and technical inputs for proposals.
Work with relevant internal and external specialists to address software, equipment, supplier, costing, and execution considerations.
Maintain ownership of assigned solution deliverables and agreed dates.
Support customer workshops, presentations, and technical clarification.
