Senior Solution Architect

JOB TITLE: Senior Solution Architect LOCATION: IRVING TX DUTIES: Design and implement technical solutions to address the business problems or requirements. Communicate with the Business Analyst to create the Functional Specification Document(FSD). This document should include all requirements and use cases, along with the full scope of deliverables and their verification. Utilize various modeling diagrams, such as the Functional flow diagram, use case diagrams, when creating the FSD. Produce necessary Technical and Functional Documentation for IT to review and assess the project's scope, and then provide final approval from the Operations perspective along with gathering proper approvals. Perform high-level effort estimation to help plan the project. Use design tools like Visio to create Module diagrams, Flow diagrams, Class diagrams, Sequence diagrams, and other low-level design diagrams. Understand various use cases and verify system completeness. Apply design knowledge to mitigate and gracefully handle failure scenarios. Create POC's when required for when new technologies are required to be integrated with the current systems. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, or a related field, and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Sr. Software Developer, Solution Architect, Software Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include the following: • 8 years in backend development; • 5 years in leading cross-functional teams of developers, and using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot for building scalable and high-performance applications; • 4 years in applying design patterns, Kafka, and domain-drive design principles; and • 3 years with Micro Services, REST API, Hibernate, SOAP Web services, Junit, and Mockito; PCF, Azure, or AWS; Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra or Elasticsearch; and Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. #LI-DNI #IND-DNI #PDN-DNI
