Role Summary
T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Owings Mills, MD to:
- Engineer scalable cloud-based complex solutions for Research Platform Team and Investments business partners.
- Modernize processing workflows by incorporating APIs and cloud technologies.
- Design, develop, modify, adapt, and implement short and long-term solutions through new and existing applications, systems, databases, and applications infrastructure.
- Review and interpret system requirements and business processes as well as code, test, debug, and contribute to all parts of software development life cycle.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master of Science degree in Engineering and Operations Management or a closely related technical field, PLUS
- 2+ years of experience with designing, building, and maintaining inbound and outbound Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, PECI, and Core connectors;
- Configuring and supporting Workday modules, including Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, and HCM;
- Developing REST and SOAP APIs with OAuth 2.0 security and testing using Postman, Bruno, or SoapUI;
- Performing data ingestion, transformation, and modeling with Workday Prism Analytics;
- Using XML and XSLT to develop advanced Workday reports (Matrix, Composite, Trending) with complex calculated fields;
- Designing BIRT layouts; supporting secure file transfers using SFTP and MoveIt;
- Managing Agile and Waterfall SDLC using Jira and ServiceNow;
- Providing production support;
- and Supporting Workday system upgrades and bi-annual releases

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home.

$123,531.00 - $135,600.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$123,531.00 - $135,600.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$123,531.00 - $135,600.00 for the location of: New York, California
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
