About the RoleOrganizations switch to ExaCare because their admission processes are broken. They rely on multiple outdated platforms and error-prone manual work to admit residents. This fragmentation wastes time and leads to suboptimal care and business outcomes. We are seeking a high-ownership senior software engineer to own a full-cycle software development process from design to implementation and maintenance.
What You'll Do- Ship user-facing features end-to-end. Partner with our amazing engineering team to scope, build, and release production-ready React screens, REST endpoints, and background services every sprint.
- Own the code you write. Produce clean TypeScript, well-tuned SQL, and thorough automated tests, delivering zero-downtime releases that raise our quality bar.
- Turn workflow pain points into product wins. Immerse yourself in the admissions journey and translate insights into intuitive UI flows and dependable backend logic that delight customers.
- Build internal tools that multiply velocity. Create dashboards, feature-flag systems, and dev-ops automations that let the whole team ship faster with total confidence.
- Invent the future of admissions. Prototype, iterate, and launch bold new capabilities that redefine how post-acute facilities fill beds and get paid.
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar technical field
- 5+ years of engineering experience with a focus on building highly scalable distributed systems
- Self-starter - you are comfortable rapidly learning new technologies and turning a high-level task into a game plan
- Demonstrated ability to triage and prioritize production incidents efficiently
- Ownership mentality and resourcefulness
- Organized, high attention to detail, with emphasis on quality code, automation, validation and testing
- Experience with AWS, LLMs, TypeScript, PostgreSQL
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into accessible language for cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience with building automated workflows
