Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary
Summary: We are a world class innovation center located in Monrovia, CA with an IMMEDIATE opening for a Senior Software Engineer for our spinoff Covisus Inc. (www.covisus.com). For the past 11 years, ChromoLogic has grown organically and built a unique model for developing disruptively innovative solutions in Medical and Aerospace Markets. Covisus was launched to address a growing need in novel supply chain solutions and is based on a revolutionary technology developed by ChromoLogic, known as vTag®. This technology is currently being deployed at Fortune 100 companies as well as Governmental Organizations in order to meet regulatory demands by the FDA and DOD, as well as broader consumer protection initiatives to protect society from counterfeits. We are looking for high-bandwidth individuals who want to join a well funded and highly innovative team with a highly disruptive solution.

Job Duties
• Join the Software Development team for our rapidly growing vTag® product line
• Develop, test and maintain a wide range of software applications
• Design and document software interfaces and architecture
• Work with product management to deliver delightful user experiences to our customers
• Work closely with QA to ensure high-quality software releases
• Manage through uncertainty in an innovative, multidisciplinary team environment
• Understand how to prioritize tasks based on a product roadmap and drive execution
• Help lead software development processes

Skills Requirements
• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• 3-5+ years of industrial experience developing software products
• Proficiency in Python, Java and C/C++
• Proficiency in SQL and/or NoSQL
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Image processing or computer vision experience preferred
• User interface design and development experience is highly desirable
• Well versed in software development and documentation best practices
• Good technical communication skills, written and verbal
• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident due to government contract requirements
