Job Description:Voyant is looking for server side Java developers to improve, expand, and/or redesign our core server component utilizing leading edge security and cloud computing services.
Location: Austin, TX (onsite)
Primary Responsibilities:- Coding and Development - Design, implement, and maintain software solutions such as service APIs and web applications. Write efficient, reusable, and modular code. Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices.
- Technical Leadership - Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team. Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Architecture and Design - Ensure that the software architecture is scalable, maintainable, and meets security standards.
- Code Review - Collaborate with team members to identify and address issues in the codebase. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
- Problem Solving - Analyze complex technical problems and propose innovative solutions. Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner.
- Project Management - Contribute to project planning, prioritization, and delivery schedules.
- Communication - Communicate effectively with team members, business partners, and stakeholders.
- Continuous Learning - Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Security - Implement and follow security best practices in software development.
Requirements:- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or equivalent field.
- 4+ years Java development experience.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Expertise with Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience implementing SSO solutions such as SAML and OpenID.
- MySQL or other RDBMS.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and helps to define the product design.
- Comfortable working in an agile development process.
- Must like dogs (they are in the office, everyday).

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $135,000-$150,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
