Location: Toronto, ON (Fully Onsite - 5 days/week required) Duration: 4-month contract. Advantages Core Full-Stack Stack: Advanced development with Java, Spring, Angular, and Oracle databases. Responsibilities Full-Stack Application Development: Design, code, test, debug, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Core Java, Spring Framework, Angular, and Liberty application servers. Front-End & UI Engineering: Build responsive, user-friendly client-side interfaces and web components compliant with WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility standards. Backend & API Engineering: Construct and integrate RESTful API services (JAX-RS), WebSocket connections, and backend application services to enable seamless front-end to backend data flows. Data Pipelines & Database Administration: Design, build, and optimize data ETL pipelines; perform relational data modeling, schema design, and script development for Oracle databases. ORM & Integration Frameworks: Implement Java Persistence API (JPA) ORM frameworks (Hibernate, EclipseLink) and integrate APIs such as Windows Exchange Web Services (EWS). System Troubleshooting & Optimization: Resolve complex software defects, diagnose data record issues, optimize full-stack application performance for speed and scalability, and perform conversion/migration support. SDLC Collaboration & Documentation: Participate across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within Agile/iterative delivery teams, authoring technical specifications and detailed documentation. Qualifications Java & Angular Seniority: 10+ years of dedicated programming and development experience in Java and/or Angular (Strictly Required). Java Development Frameworks: Hands-on experience developing Java applications using Spring, Liberty, JPA 2.1 implementations (Hibernate, EclipseLink), JAX-RS, JDBC, and WebSockets (Strictly Required). Oracle Database & Data Modeling: Proven expertise in Oracle database design, data modeling, data analysis, and database script development (Strictly Required). Accessibility Compliance: Demonstrated experience designing and coding web interfaces that meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance) (Strictly Required). Data Pipelines & API Design: Experience conceiving, reviewing, and implementing data pipelines (ETL) and building RESTful web services (Strictly Required).
