What you'll do: • Architect, design, and drive the end-to-end implementation of the firm's most critical Linux authentication and security services. • Take ownership of our identity and access platforms, ensuring they are performant, highly reliable, and secure by design. • Engineer the seamless and secure integration of new Linux OS distributions into a complex, fast-paced global infrastructure. • Automate security and infrastructure processes by developing robust, elegant tooling in Python. • Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating with brilliant engineers across the firm to solve deep and challenging technical problems. What you'll bring: • A seasoned engineer with 15+ years of experience in systems engineering and infrastructure security. • Deep, authoritative knowledge of Linux-based operating systems, from the kernel up. • Proven, hands-on experience in the design and end-to-end implementation of complex authentication and security services. We need builders, not just administrators. • Expert-level proficiency in the theory and practical application of X.509 PKI, Kerberos, and OAuth/OpenID Connect. • Demonstrable development experience in Python for the purpose of infrastructure automation and tooling. • Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities, with the ability to diagnose complex issues at both the host and network level. • Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
