Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, validate, and execute LC-MS/MS and HPLC methods.
  • Act as Study Director and Principal Investigator for designated studies.
  • Interpret complex bioanalytical data, providing scientific recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Author and review protocols, study reports, and regulatory documentation.
  • Resolve analytical challenges and implement scientifically sound solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, QA, and clients.
  • Mentor junior scientists and enhance laboratory capabilities.

Full Job Description
Position: Senior Scientist I

Hourly Range: $85,000 - $95,000

Location: Exton, PA (On-site)

What You'll Do

As a Senior Scientist I, you will serve as a scientific leader supporting critical drug development programs through the design, execution, and interpretation of regulated bioanalytical and drug-drug interaction (DDI) studies. You will collaborate directly with sponsors, influence study strategy, solve complex scientific challenges, and help bring innovative therapies closer to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and lead regulated DMPK and DDI bioanalytical studies that support client drug development programs.
  • Develop, optimize, validate, and execute LC-MS/MS and HPLC analytical methods.
  • Serve as Study Director (SD) and Principal Investigator (PI) for assigned studies.
  • Interpret complex bioanalytical data and provide scientific recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Author and review protocols, study reports, technical summaries, and regulatory documentation.
  • Troubleshoot analytical challenges and drive scientifically sound solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Scientists, Operations, Quality Assurance, Business Development, and clients.
  • Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the growth of laboratory capabilities and scientific excellence.
  • Serve as a scientific partner to sponsors by providing study updates, discussing results, and helping design solutions that meet program objectives.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of GLP and/or bioanalytical laboratory experience.
