Position: Senior Scientist I
Hourly Range: $85,000 - $95,000
Location: Exton, PA (On-site)
What You'll DoAs a Senior Scientist I, you will serve as a scientific leader supporting critical drug development programs through the design, execution, and interpretation of regulated bioanalytical and drug-drug interaction (DDI) studies. You will collaborate directly with sponsors, influence study strategy, solve complex scientific challenges, and help bring innovative therapies closer to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and lead regulated DMPK and DDI bioanalytical studies that support client drug development programs.
- Develop, optimize, validate, and execute LC-MS/MS and HPLC analytical methods.
- Serve as Study Director (SD) and Principal Investigator (PI) for assigned studies.
- Interpret complex bioanalytical data and provide scientific recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Author and review protocols, study reports, technical summaries, and regulatory documentation.
- Troubleshoot analytical challenges and drive scientifically sound solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Scientists, Operations, Quality Assurance, Business Development, and clients.
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the growth of laboratory capabilities and scientific excellence.
- Serve as a scientific partner to sponsors by providing study updates, discussing results, and helping design solutions that meet program objectives.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of GLP and/or bioanalytical laboratory experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on LC-MS/MS experience utilizing Sciex, Waters, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting DMPK and Drug-Drug Interaction (DDI) studies.
- Experience authoring protocols, reports, and technical documentation.
- Strong data interpretation, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
