Opportunity OverviewTeam Overview: Join the Finance Risk Management team to execute the firm's Enterprise Risk Management framework for identifying, assessing, treating, mitigating, monitoring, reporting and escalating risks. The Senior Risk Manager - Finance serves as a trusted risk advisor and partner to the Finance division, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to drive risk management initiatives.
What You'll Do: - Execute Finance risk and control activities in accordance with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program and applicable divisional requirements.
- Execute critical business risk assessments, including new projects and initiatives, and maintain accurate process, risk, and control inventories to strengthen risk identification and evaluation.
- Build and maintain deep knowledge of assigned business division processes, risk profiles, firm policies and programs, and ERM frameworks and standards to enable effective risk oversight, governance, and credible challenge.
- Support business owners of out of appetite risks, issues or incidents, including root cause analysis, action plan development, evidence review, remediation documentation and effective challenge of action plan effectiveness.
- Use GRC to document risk issues and assessment data in accordance with established SLAs, ensuring complete, accurate and timely reporting to enable effective risk management.
- Support development of reporting and analysis for inclusion in risk forums that clearly communicate trends, exposures, remediation status and matters requiring escalation.
- Monitor emerging risk and provide early-warning risk insight to divisional leadership.
- Work to develop and inventory KRIs that enable effective monitoring of the division's risk profile.
- Support development of risk training and education that strengthens business partner understanding and application of the Enterprise Risk Management Program
- Stay informed on risk industry and educational/development opportunities.
Note: Internally, this role will be known as a Senior Risk and Control Associate.
Position RequirementsWhat Experience You Need: - Bachelor's degree required (business, finance or accounting preferred)
- 5+ years of risk management experience required
- Experience building and influencing cross-functional stakeholder relationships to drive alignment and results.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system-thinking skills with a track record of solving complex business challenges.
- Effective communication skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences and delivering results in fast-paced, evolving environments.
