Essential Functions
-Analyzes revenue cycle data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
-Collaborates with billing and claims teams to address revenue discrepancies and optimize billing accuracy.
-Prepares financial reports detailing revenue performance, payer reimbursement rates, and claims processing outcomes.
-Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue cycle activities and identifies process improvement opportunities.
-Ensures compliance with billing regulations, payer requirements, and reimbursement guidelines.
-Develops and maintains revenue forecasting models to aid in strategic planning.
-Conducts root cause analysis of denied claims and collaborates with departments to implement corrective actions.
-Assists in the development and implementation of revenue policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective practices.
-Liaises with departments to ensure seamless integration of revenue cycle processes with operational practices.
QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field of study required. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Experience- 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle analysis, billing, claims processing, or financial analysis in a healthcare setting required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Proficiency in revenue cycle management and data analysis tools.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with billing software and revenue management systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
- Knowledge of billing regulations, reimbursement guidelines, and claims management practices.
