The RoleWe're looking for an experienced
Senior Recruiter, GTM to join our North America Talent Acquisition team in San Francisco.
In this senior individual contributor position, you will leverage extensive experience sourcing top-tier
commercial sales talent within intricate enterprise settings. While your main responsibility centers on recruiting for enterprise sales, commercial partnerships, operations, and Orb (our newly acquired billing platform), you will adapt to cover
Operations, Professional Services, and Orb as organizational needs shift.
This role requires both depth and range: understanding what great enterprise sales talent looks like, evaluating candidates selling complex products into large organizations, and adjusting profiles based on industry specialization. Simultaneously, you must quickly master new talent markets and support hiring outside GTM as business needs evolve.
Beyond filling roles, you would focus on building teams - rapidly grasping a business, challenging assumptions, bringing external market insights to the table, and guiding leaders toward better hiring decisions.
What You'll Do- GTM & Enterprise AE Hiring: Lead end to end full lifecycle recruiting for Go To Market roles, with a heavy focus on Enterprise Account Executives and industry vertical sales specialists.
- Cross-Functional & Business Flexibility: Flex across Operations and Professional Services hiring as needed, while supporting recruiting for Orb (Adyen's newly acquired billing platform) by helping build its talent strategy.
- Sales Leadership Alignment: Partner closely with Sales leaders to translate territory, vertical, customer segment, and business needs into actionable talent strategies.
- Passive Talent & Market Intelligence: Build deep pipelines of passive enterprise sales talent (rather than relying on inbound applicants) and map competitive markets regarding target organizations, talent availability, compensation, location, and market dynamics.
- Intake, Calibration & Advisory: Lead intake and calibration sessions to help teams separate true requirements from developmental skills, acting as a trusted advisor who knows when to challenge, influence, or align.
- Process Urgency & Quality: Drive complex searches with speed and high standards for candidate quality, candidate experience, and recruitment funnels.
- Data, Tech & Continuous Improvement: Utilize funnel data and recruiting insights to spot issues early and recommend practical solutions, while experimenting with AI, automation, and tech tools to innovate recruiting processes.
- Team & Organizational Contribution: Mentor team members, share market expertise, solve cross-functional hiring challenges alongside HR/People/Compensation teams, and elevate overall team workflows.
Who you are- Experience & Industry Domain: 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within high-growth tech, fintech, or payments (experience in enterprise payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure is strongly preferred).
- Enterprise Sales Expertise: Deep expertise hiring Enterprise AEs selling complex solutions to large organizations, with strong familiarity navigating long deal cycles, executive stakeholders, and strategic selling environments.
- Vertical Specialization Knowledge: Skilled at identifying industry vertical sales specialists with deep domain credibility and distinguishing them from generalist sellers.
- Multi-Domain Adaptability: Proven ability to flex across GTM, Operations, and Professional Services, quickly learning new products, talent segments, or business units to build effective strategies.
- Sourcing & Market Mapping: Exceptional sourcer capable of mapping target markets, identifying hard-to-find talent, and cultivating relationships with passive candidates.
- Data Driven Stakeholder Influence: Skilled at using data and market intelligence to shape strategies, advise senior leaders, and quickly establish executive credibility.
- Execution & Communication: Direct, clear, and constructive communicator who operates independently, prioritizes competing priorities in fast-paced environments, and handles difficult conversations well.
- Mindset & Collaboration: Highly collaborative, low-ego team player who accepts feedback, thrives in ambiguous environments, and ensures an exceptional candidate experience
