Position Description: CGI is seeking an experienced Senior Quantexa Entity Resolution & Graph Analytics Developer to design, develop, and enhance Quantexa-based solutions supporting Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM), fraud detection, and related banking-risk initiatives.
This role will focus on creating trusted entity views from disparate data sources, building sophisticated relationship and transaction networks, and developing scalable analytical solutions that help identify hidden connections, suspicious activity, and financial crime risk.
This is a hybrid role requiring attendance at our downtown Toronto office and/or client office a minimum of one day per week, subject to change based on business and client requirements.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Design, develop, and configure Quantexa Entity Resolution solutions, including data ingestion, mapping, matching, linking, deduplication, and entity-quality tuning.
• Build and enhance graph data models representing customers, accounts, transactions, organizations, counterparties, and their relationships.
• Develop graph analytics, network analysis, and scoring capabilities to identify suspicious connections, transaction patterns, and potential financial crime risks.
• Develop comprehensive 360-degree entity views by resolving and linking records across multiple internal and external data sources.
• Integrate Quantexa with upstream data sources and downstream FCRM, fraud, alerting, investigation, and case-management platforms.
• Develop and optimize large-scale data-processing solutions using Spark/Scala or Java and SQL.
• Develop and consume REST APIs and support integration with enterprise systems.
• Optimize batch and/or real-time data pipelines for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with fraud investigators, FCRM SMEs, data engineers, architects, and product owners to translate business requirements into reusable Quantexa solutions.
• Perform unit, integration, regression, performance, and data-quality testing.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and engineering best practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, production releases, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex platform and data issues.
• CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 -$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• Demonstrated hands-on Quantexa implementation and/or development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Quantexa Entity Resolution, including:
o Data ingestion and mapping
o Entity matching and linking
o Deduplication
o Entity-quality tuning
o 360-degree entity views
• Strong experience with graph analytics, including relationship networks, graph traversal, graph scoring, network analysis, and visualization.
• Strong data-engineering experience working with complex and large-scale datasets.
• Strong development experience with Spark/Scala or Java.
• Strong SQL development and data-analysis skills.
• Experience integrating solutions through REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience within fraud, AML, KYC, sanctions, FCRM, or financial crime risk management.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working within Canadian banking or FCRM environments.
• Quantexa certification or significant previous Quantexa platform delivery experience.
• Experience with Python.
• DevOps and automated deployment experience.
• Cloud-platform experience.
• Experience integrating Quantexa with data lakes and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience with high-volume batch and/or near-real-time financial transaction processing.
