Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager with expertise in Industrial Hygiene to lead environmental consulting projects across insurance, industrial, maritime, and commercial sectors. The successful candidate will manage projects, support client relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality environmental health and safety solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage industrial hygiene and environmental health & safety (EH&S) projects.
  • Conduct and oversee assessments related to asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, indoor air quality, and other environmental hazards.
  • Manage field investigations, sampling programs, and data analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and client deliverables.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and provide practical risk management recommendations.
  • Mentor junior staff and support the development of project teams.
  • Assist with business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client engagement.
  • Travel to project sites as needed, including occasional emergency response assignments.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in industrial hygiene, environmental consulting, or environmental health & safety (EH&S), including project management responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Experience conducting and managing assessments related to asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, indoor air quality (IAQ), and occupational exposures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and managing technical staff.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client and project sites throughout Texas and surrounding regions as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
  • Texas Asbestos Consultant and/or Project Management certifications.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant industry certifications.
  • Experience serving clients in the insurance, petrochemical, energy, manufacturing, maritime, or construction sectors.
  • Established business development experience, including proposal preparation, client management, and generating new business opportunities.
  • Master's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $100,000 - $165,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
