Job Description:

RAPP Chicago is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our award-winning Program Management team.

YOUR ROLE:

Program and Portfolio Management at RAPP is a key capability that ensures that our accounts and the agency are continuously generating customer value through delivery excellence, operational efficiency and business growth.

As Sr. Project Manager you are the director of the client projects - you are the one who knows how to make things happen. You are the master of the execution and process from project initiation to delivery. You are passionate about the space, creative, solutions-oriented, organized, collaborative and have exceptional people skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Experience managing complex programs from start to finish. Ability to identify risks, creatively problem solve in defining mitigation strategies at the project and portfolio level.

-Can manage projects autonomously and actively support Business Leadership in the management of more complex projects, ensuring scope parameters are maintained.

-Build respectful, strong working relationships with internal teams, cross agency paterners, and when applicable with client(s). Ensure understanding and adherence to agency process.

-Co-author new project, estimates, resource plans and change order documentation. Collaborate with department leads across the account to ensure accuracy.

-Develop comprehensive project plans, ensure that projects can be produced within specified timeframes, efficiently manage + communicate milestones throughout the project lifecycle, while being comfortable adapting to changes.

-Skilled in optimizing resource allocation across the work to avoid over-or-under-utilization, balancing the demands of different projects to guarantee delivery without overburdening teams.

-Align the project team to the work to ensure resources are available and present at appropriate times throughout the project lifecycle.

-Experience managing project budgets, tracking spends, analyzing spend and forecasting to ensure that projects are delivered within financial constraints.

-Manage project-related meetings including weekly account and PM huddles, project stand-ups, portfolio and project health status meetings.

-A process engineer, continually looking to optimize production workflows, processes and Ways of Working with a goal of improvement and collaboration.

-Expertise in prioritizing tasks and milestones across multiple projects, competing deadlines and the ability to adjust as needed to ensure deliverables are completed on time. Seasoned in dependency management.

-Lead efficient and effective meetings. Ensuring timely conference notes and action steps taken.

-Confident in mentoring junior team members of the best practices of the agency and project management.

-Ability to thoroughly review deliverables ensuring that they meet standards, specifications and quality criteria prior to delivery.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

-Bachelor's Degree required.

-5+ years of experience managing medium-complex projects or programs (web development preferred)

-Program or large project experience in one or more of the following areas:

-Marketing Technology solutions such as Salesforce, Microsoft PowerApps or similar.

-Modern Web technologies

-Possess an established track record of successful accomplishment with clients and internal teams.

-Knowledge of traditional project management techniques as well as an understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks to manage projects effectivly in a flexible and iterative manner.

-Expertise in MS office products and project management tools, including Workfront, Atlassian, Smartsheet or others

-Experience with project documentation (SOWs, Project Plans, RAID Logs) and management/workflow tools a plus.

-Must be solutions-oriented with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

-Must have strong written and communication skills.

-Must have strong leadership skills and ability / desire to mentor junior PM talent.

$80,000-$92,000
