Senior Project Manager in

The Senior Project Manager will lead large, complex, multi-project programs and help deliver an exceptional client experience across the full project lifecycle. This role is responsible for aligning scope, schedule, budget, quality, staffing, client communication, and financial performance while partnering closely with client team leaders, delivery leaders, group leaders, technical teams, subconsultants, and operations. The ideal candidate brings senior-level project or program management experience, strong client relationships, business development credibility, and the judgment to lead complex power delivery work from pursuit through closeout.
What You'll DoKey Responsibilities:- Function as a senior project or program manager for large, complex, multiple-project programs, including work with phased deliverables, long-term contracts, multiple stakeholders, public involvement, and coordination of subconsultants.
- Deliver project results on time, at a high level of quality, within budget, and with strong client satisfaction and project profitability.
- Develop the project's understanding, approach, work plan, staffing strategy, communication protocol, scope, schedule, budget, assumptions, and performance expectations.
- Manage project setup, execution, change management, QA/QC planning, invoicing, accounts receivable, unbilled, project closeout, and monthly cost-to-complete forecasting.
- Lead project teams, mentor project managers and task leaders, provide feedback on delivery of team performance, and help determine appropriate team members, pursuit teams, teaming partners, and subconsultants.
- Serve as a trusted client partner by setting clear expectations, maintaining proactive communication, leading project check-ins, identifying risks, and resolving issues with urgency, clarity, and accountability.
- Support proposal and pursuit efforts, participate actively in business development, cultivate client and community relationships, and help identify incremental or new project opportunities.
- Adhere to DEA tools, processes, and policies related to project accounting, contracting, workload planning, revenue forecasting, quality requirements, and financial performance.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:- Ability to become a certified or provisionally certified Project Manager through the DEA PM Program.
- Generally, 15 or more years of relevant experience in the discipline.
- Experience functioning as a project or program manager for large, extensive, and complex multiple-project programs.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver project results on time, at a high level of quality, within budget, and with strong client satisfaction and project profitability.
- Experience managing project closeouts, invoicing, accounts receivable, contracts, subconsultants, write-offs, monthly cost-to-complete, and 12-month rolling net revenue forecasting.
- Strong client relationships, active business development participation, and demonstrated ability to build relationships within the community.
- Expert-level technical knowledge with a broad understanding of related fields and operational areas that affect project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in related discipline.
- Registered professional with a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
- Experience managing power delivery, utility, or infrastructure projects with complex stakeholders, clients, and subconsultant coordination.
- Experience leading multi-year, multi-million-dollar project portfolios, generally within the $2M to $5M revenue range.
- Experience supporting strategic pursuits, proposal development, client planning, and long-term client relationship growth.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor project managers, guide project teams, and establish clear expectations and accountability across disciplines.
- Active involvement in professional organizations, industry groups, committees, special project teams, or community relationship-building efforts.

- Potential salary range: $180,000 - $210,000/annually
