Full Job Description
The Senior Project Manager, Construction leads the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale or complex construction and capital improvement projects. This role serves as the senior client-facing lead on high-visibility projects, mentors junior project management staff, and helps set the standard for project delivery within the market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale or complex construction and capital improvement projects.
  • Develop and manage multi-million dollar project budgets and schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating risk.
  • Serve as the senior client-facing representative, building and maintaining trust with owners, tenants, and capital partners.
  • Direct the selection, contracting, and performance management of architects, engineers, and general contractors.
  • Negotiate complex contracts, change orders, and dispute resolutions.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Project Managers, Associate Project Managers, and Project Coordinators.
  • Present project status, budget, and risk updates to senior leadership and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with entitlements, permitting, and all applicable codes and regulations.
  • Oversee project closeout, commissioning, and transition to property management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required; advanced degree a plus.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction project management, including large or complex projects.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-million dollar budgets and cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, contracts, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Established relationships with contractors, consultants, and vendors within assigned markets.
