Position Description

The Butz Family of Companies seeks a Senior Project Manager at Alexander Building Construction Co. located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This individual would provide overall management of multiple projects and be the main point of contact for the owner. The Senior Project Manager works with project stakeholders, the Preconstruction Department, and the Design Team to develop the project schedule, construction plan, and phasing.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams
• Ability to function within multiple facets of project team
• Lead the development of proposals and contracts
• Ability to gain new business ventures and contacts
• Soft skills - able to navigate difficult customers/conversations
• Manage multiple projects across various owners/industries
• Understanding of financial aspects of given projects
• Knowledge/Ability to do Estimating

Position Requirements

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline and ten (10) plus years of applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of technical training and job experience. Knowledge of PC-based software relating to project scheduling and cost control is required. Experience in health care or higher education is a plus.
