Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required from a university with an engineering program accredited by the Accrediting Board for Engineering and Technology. Professional Engineer registration in Texas required, or must obtain registration within six months of appointment to position. Texas Class C driver's license required. Seven (7) years of experience as a licensed professional engineer is required, preferably managing municipal capital improvement projects. Professional, administrative, and technical knowledge required in civil engineering design, construction, and related fields.
