Job requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit related functions
- Firsthand experience with SAP or other large-scale ERP considered an asset
- Prior exposure to data center, critical infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects preferred
- Experience with fast paced work environment considered an asset
- Highly proficient in MS Office specifically; Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Ability to time manage and multitask with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership, service providers and project management teams
Job responsibilities Reporting to the Project Controls Specialist the Sr Project Cost Analyst is responsible for:
- Manage and track project budgets for large-scale data center construction, development, and technology projects including forecasting and variance analysis
- Assist operations, construction, technology and finance teams by providing timely cost information and helping ensure financial data aligns with project milestones
- Help maintain project cost records, including monitoring actuals vs. budget, preparing cost summaries, and sharing updates with project managers and the finance team
- Work with the procurement team to gather information on material costs and expected cashflow timing
- Provide administrative support for financial documentation, such as contracts, change orders, and vendor invoices, to ensure accurate cost coding
- Act as the finance business partner for project stakeholders, translating operational progress into clear financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies by supporting documentation requests, audits, and internal reviews related to project spend.
