Full Job Description
Sr.Product Specialist to support their Fan Coil, Blower Coil, and Air Handler product lines. The Product Specialist tactically assists internal teams and customers by providing product knowledge, pricing and sales data analysis, business cases, customer surveys, and participates in customer-facing activities. The Product Specialist takes on additional business development responsibilities as required to support the Product Management team.

What You'll Do
  • Support competitive product research initiatives to inform new product development projects by analyzing competitive pricing, performance, features, and accessories, as well as identifying strengths and weaknesses relative to competitors.
  • Review technical documents such as engineering specifications, market data, sales history, and other customer documents to develop and prepare detailed product roadmaps and estimated revenue.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by preparing PowerPoint presentations and other materials for customer-facing events.
  • Participate in project review meetings and provide insight into product line business performance.
  • Collaborate with business development, production, marketing, project management, and engineering teams, to ensure alignment on project requirements.
  • Communicate with potential and existing customers to identify and define specific product gaps or needs, coordinating these requirements across internal departments for execution.
  • Engage in continuous learning to enhance product and process expertise through cross-functional meetings, plant visits, training seminars, and similar professional development activities.
  • Additional duties assigned by management.

What We Look For
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university
  • 2-5 years' experience in product support, research, marketing, or Engineering
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe editing software
  • Strong problem solving, market research, and analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and government regulations.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts using basic concepts of algebra, statistics, and geometry, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Experience in project management or exposure to project management methodologies.
  • Approximately 20% or less travel is required.

Preferred:
  • Power BI proficiency and strong analytics skills
  • 1+ year of related experience in the HVAC or OEM industry
  • Ability to present presentations to internal and external stakeholders

Working Environment

The work environment is primarily in a professional office setting with standard office equipment and a climate-controlled atmosphere designed for productivity.
