Full Job Description
As the Product Manager for Payments within Equifax's Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business, you will own the payment experience that powers our consumer-facing credit monitoring, identity protection, and financial wellness subscription products. You will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our consumer payments, balancing frictionless user experiences with robust security, compliance, and billing efficiency.

What you'll do

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Define a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for D2C digital payments for web and mobile consumer checkout experiences, payment management and recurring billing.
  • Performance Optimization and Reporting: Monitor the performance of payment systems and processes across consumer experiences and identify/optimize areas of improvement
  • Partnership and Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with IT, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and operation of consumer payment initiatives.Work closely with backend billing, revenue, and payment systems to optimize payment success through the Equifax payment ecosystem.
  • Vendor Management: Act as the business stakeholder representing USIS D2C needs for payment vendors. Provide business input and support to the vendor management team, including participation in Monthly/Quarterly business reviews.
  • Compliance Management: Act as the business stakeholder representing D2C compliance needs. Provide business input and support to the compliance team to ensure our billing, revenue, and payment processes adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards specific to D2C products.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the SME for consumer payments, authorization/tokenization, providing guidance on best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements in the payments space.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support for consumer payment, addressing any issues or challenges that arise post-implementation.


What experience you need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of payments product management experience with a proven track record of driving successful business outcomes through customer-facing digital experiences.
  • Payments & Subscription Commerce Experience
  • Expertise in managing subscription billing and consumer payment solutions across web and mobile applications, with a proven track record of reducing involuntary churn and optimizing payment success rates.
  • Regulated Environment Experience: Familiar with working within highly regulated financial or compliance-sensitive environments in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and Risk functions.
  • Technical Fluency: Comfortable in collaborating with multiple engineering teams on consumer payment flows through the internal payments ecosystem.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Ability to build data-backed business cases, prioritize difficult trade-offs, and communicate clearly with executive stakeholders.
