Full Job Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Product Manager - HRScale to join our team.

Insperity is advancing HRScale, a co-developed solution with Workday that brings enterprise-class human capital management capabilities to the middle market in an entirely new way. HRScale pairs Workday's HCM technology with Insperity's industry-leading PEO co-employment model, and high-touch service delivery to help larger, more complex clients manage their workforce with greater confidence, agility, and scale.

As Senior Product Manager, HRScale, you will help shape the next stage of growth for one of Insperity's most strategic product offerings. You will contribute to the vision, strategy, roadmap, adoption, and commercial success of HRScale across Insperity's up-market portfolio.
Working at the intersection of client needs, product strategy, the Workday partnership, technology, and service delivery, you will collaborate with others to identify the highest-value opportunities to improve the client experience, help us make disciplined investment and prioritization decisions, and guide cross-functional teams from concept through launch and ongoing growth.

This is a high-impact opportunity to define and optimize a strategic solution inside an established company with deep HR expertise, strong client relationships, and a differentiated service model. You will not simply manage a roadmap or coordinate partner activity. You will help answer the harder product questions: where should HRScale go next, what client and business problems must it solve better, how should Insperity deliver the solution well at scale, and how will we know it is creating real value for the business and the clients we serve?

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Strategy & Market Development
  • Evolves the vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmap for HRScale, Insperity's flagship up-market HCM solution, aligned with enterprise strategy, solution priorities, business objectives and market needs.
  • Coordinates with Enterprise Analytics and partners across the organization to conduct market research, client interviews, and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and business opportunities.
  • Builds business cases and facilitates internal alignment and investment decisions required to advance product strategies.
  • Identifies must-have requirements and key differentiators to be reflected in product capabilities, marketing strategy, and service delivery standards.

End-to-End Product Ownership
  • Serves as an accountable owner for HRScale across the full lifecycle, from concept through launch, scale and ongoing evolution.
  • Uses an understanding of the strategy for Insperity's up-market solutions to inform actionable roadmaps, phased investments, pilot initiatives, and scalable operating models.
  • Makes or recommends, as appropriate, disciplined trade-off decisions across scope, sequencing, and investment, balancing client value, scalability, and commercial outcomes.
  • Acts to reduce ambiguity and clarify ownership by providing clear direction and decision rights to continually improve product performance.

Commercial Success & Product Performance Management
  • Drives the overall commercial success of HRScale, including growth, sustainability, and scalability.
  • Partners with Finance and Enterprise Analytics to understand revenue drivers, cost-to-serve dynamics, and product economics.
  • Defines and updates ongoing product success metrics and reviews performance to inform decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve pricing, packaging, margin profile, and operational leverage, elevating recommendations as appropriate.

Decision Authority & Governance
  • Acts as a decision authority for product-level decisions within defined scope.
  • Makes decisions regarding prioritization of enhancements and changes to the product, in the context of available resources and higher-level priorities.
  • Elevates decisions requiring Product Management leadership, Solution Management, and/or Management Team approval (e.g., pricing, major new investments, sunsetting) with clear recommendations, supporting analysis, and trade-off considerations.
  • Ensures products within defined scope are represented consistently and effectively in portfolio management and governance forums.

Cross Functional Leadership & Execution
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Technology, Service Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Gross Profit Operations to define requirements for capabilities - both technology and service delivery - that will meet client needs and work for Insperity.
  • Coordinates with others in Product Management and Solution Management roles to ensure alignment between solution-level strategy, product-level strategy and underlying capabilities and product roadmaps.
  • Recognizes the need for change and leads through influence and intentional communication to drive alignment and execution of plans.
  • Serves as the internal champion for assigned products by clearly articulating strategy and direction based on market insights and client feedback.

Market, Client & Sales Enablement
  • Represents the voice of the client and market for HRScale and the client needs the solution addresses.
  • Gathers and incorporates feedback from clients, Sales, Service Operations, and internal stakeholders to address existing and emerging needs and validate ideal customer profile.
  • Partners with Sales and Marketing to support clear selling motions, product narratives, enablement materials, and strategic opportunities.

Partner Management
  • Manages product level relationships with strategic external partners that enable or support assigned solutions.
  • Coordinates with Corporate Development and other stakeholders to identify opportunities to evolve, expand, or supplement partnerships based on strategic direction and market needs.
  • Ensures partner dependencies, risks, and roadmap considerations are understood and reflected in product and solution planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or related work experience is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or service design/delivery/management.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in matrixed organizations.
  • Master's Degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Experience with HR solutions, enterprise software, or tech-enabled services.
  • Experience working with external partners supporting complex solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience developing business cases and evaluating trade-offs.
  • Background in both technology and service-based product offerings.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and ability to translate them into product direction.
  • Aptitude to accept complex assignments, analyze problems, and generate effective solutions. Ability to apply a systematic method to problem solving, analyze data, and recommend strategies that support positive business results.
  • Strong analytical abilities, results oriented nature, the ability to manage multiple projects, work independently or as part of a team, and plan, organize and complete assignments timely.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, effectively present complex, financial information; work effectively and accurately under narrow time limitations; work effectively with others; work independently from general instructions; and maintain effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams.
  • Ability to operate independently and make informed decisions within defined scope.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
  • Bias for action, continuous improvement, and delivering meaningful outcomes.

This job specification should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position. Incumbent will follow any other instructions, and perform any other related duties, as may be required by the supervisor.
