Full Job Description
As Sr. Product Manager - E-Commerce, you will own the end-to-end product experience across our Shopify ecosystem, with a strong focus on our subscription and auto-ship business. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, CX, and Operations to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and ship high-impact features that improve conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value. You will be responsible for evolving the acquisition, onboarding, and lifecycle experience of subscribers, optimizing recurring revenue, subscription journeys, and long-term customer engagement to drive sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities • Own the end-to-end Shopify and subscription product experience, including PDPs, checkout, subscriptions, meal plans, customer accounts, and post-purchase flows. • Define and maintain the e-commerce product roadmap, aligning platform initiatives with business goals across acquisition, retention, AOV, and LTV. • Lead optimization of the subscription lifecycle, from acquisition and onboarding to renewal, pause/cancel, and win-back, to maximize recurring revenue. • Partner closely with Acquisition Marketing to ensure landing pages, checkout flows, and post-purchase onboarding optimize for new customer conversion, CAC payback, and LTV • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Marketing, CX, and Operations to translate business needs into scalable product solutions. • Drive experimentation and conversion rate optimization, including A/B testing, personalization, bundles, and upsell/cross-sell initiatives. • Build and own comprehensive product dashboards covering: conversion funnel, subscription adoption, churn by cohort/plan, AOV trends, post-purchase engagement, and recurring revenue metrics • Leverage analytics platforms (Amplitude, Tableau, Looker, Shopify analytics) to measure user behavior, identify bottlenecks, validate hypotheses, and measure post-launch impact • Own the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of Shopify apps and integrations, including subscriptions, CRM, reviews, search, and loyalty platforms. • Ensure platform performance, reliability, and scalability, proactively managing technical debt, upgrades, and operational risks. • Comfort leveraging AI tools to accelerate insights, research, UX ideation, CRO testing, and site/product changes. • All other duties, as assigned We're genuinely excited about you because you have: • 5+ years of Product Management experience in e-commerce preferably within DTC • Hands-on experience managing Shopify platform • Proven experience working with subscription or recurring revenue models • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives • Experience driving conversion rate optimization and experimentation • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills What We Offer You - It's the Perfect Package • An opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive within a mission-driven, dynamic, and fast-growing company alongside thoughtful and passionate individuals. • Competitive compensation and a full suite of benefits, including a monthly pet feeding program for someone who loves to keep their pet well-fed year-round. • Great office culture (with numerous adorable pets!) where your pet interrupting a video call or meeting is the norm. • Comprehensive healthcare coverage and RRSP plans with company match. • Discounted food, apparel, and insurance for your furry family members. • PTO plus company-wide wellness and personal days to support your well-being. • Volunteer days to give back to our community. Compensation: The hiring range for this role is $100,000-$130,000 CAD annually, with final compensation thoughtfully aligned to your experience, skills, and the value you bring.
