Full Job Description
The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape and deliver high-quality digital product experiences at Linus Health.

This role will support a range of patient, participant, clinician, and partner-facing experiences across our product ecosystem. You will work across mobile and responsive web experiences, partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Clinical, and Commercial teams, and help translate complex health information into clear, supportive user experiences.

This is a strong fit for a senior designer who can move between strategy and execution, work comfortably in ambiguity, and deliver high-quality product design in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll do

  • Lead design for key product experiences across Linus Health's digital ecosystem, including design for a new consumer health experience focused on brain health education and engagement.
  • Translate early product strategy, concept wireframes, business goals, and technical requirements into clear, usable product experiences
  • Create high-quality mobile and responsive web designs that support multiple consumer and partner entry points
  • Partner with Product Management to define MVP scope, clarify problem statements, shape product requirements, and prioritize the highest-value user experiences
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering to understand technical constraints, platform dependencies, assessment requirements, wearable integrations, and delivery tradeoffs
  • Work within Linus's existing design system while thoughtfully extending patterns for consumer engagement
  • Create prototypes for usability testing, stakeholder alignment, executive review, and engineering handoff
  • Partner with UX Research to plan, test, and iterate on concepts
  • Apply accessibility, cognitive accessibility, and plain-language principles to designs
  • Balance speed, quality, and ambiguity while supporting a fast-moving, cross-functional build team
  • Document user flows, interaction patterns, edge cases, and design decisions in Figma, Jira, and Confluence
  • Participate in design critiques and collaborate within a small but growing design team

About You:

Must Haves:

  • Senior-level product design experience (5+ years), ideally in consumer health, digital health, healthcare, wellness, life sciences, or complex regulated products
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design across mobile and responsive web experiences
  • Mastery of Figma, including designing within and extending established design systems
  • Strong interaction design, information architecture, and visual design skills
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous product spaces and using design to bring structure, clarity, and momentum
  • Familiarity with product development tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain design rationale to technical, clinical, product, and executive stakeholders
  • High-level working knowledge of regulated product considerations and boundaries (e.g. the distinction between wellness and clinical experiences) with the judgment to flag when Legal or Compliance input is needed
  • Ability to move quickly while maintaining a high bar for usability and accessibility

Nice To Haves:

  • Experience with mobile app design, native app patterns, push notification strategies, or wearable-integrated experiences
  • Experience designing healthcare consent, privacy, data-sharing, or regulated workflows
  • Familiarity with behavioral nudging, longitudinal engagement, habit formation, or personalized content delivery
  • Experience designing white-labeled, partner-configurable, or multi-channel product experiences
  • Experience supporting usability testing or mixed-methods research
  • Thoughtful use of AI tools to improve design workflows, ideation, prototyping, synthesis, or documentation, with appropriate attention to privacy and compliance
