Full Job Description
You\'ll own the design side of Click UI, ClickHouse\'s open source design system. As a member of a solution-oriented product team, you\'ll see those system-level design decisions through to end users. If you think of design systems as a way to bake good design into technical products, fix bugs yourself instead of filing tickets, and use AI to stay ahead of the curve, we\'d love to hear from you.
What You Will Be Doing
Own the design system in Figma and the design decisions that determine how components look and feel across the ClickHouse ecosystem.
Work directly with contributors and consumers of Click UI to improve the system and drive adoption of new and existing components.
Communicate designs through wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups, iterating quickly on feedback.
Partner closely with a product team, including product managers and engineers, as a trusted, embedded collaborator rather than a separate creative function.
Use AI tools to accelerate your workflow, automate repetitive tasks, and improve both code and design quality.
Contribute to design feedback sessions with internal and external stakeholders to validate assumptions.
Advocate for product quality and user experience, even when you have to create the guardrails yourself.
