Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years' engineering experience, preferably in nuclear
Proven design, estimating, and specification preparation skills
Familiarity with construction document preparation
Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local engineering codes and standards

Prepare and review calculations and specifications for P&ID development

Full Job Description
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
Responsibilities:
Conduct construction document reviews as required.
Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup.
Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development.
Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design.
Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications
Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering. Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
