This an onsite position that can be based in either Winston Salem, North Carolina or Jamestown, North Dakota.
What You Will Do:- Serve as technical leader for cargo software team, aligning efforts across engineering teams to ensure completion of capabilities within project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with Systems Engineers to develop, mature and update software requirements.
- Identify and manage technical risks and dependencies and ensure seamless program execution.
- Support risk and opportunity management, schedule adherence, and cost control to meet program deliverables and financial objectives.
- Contribute to the design and development of a Systems/Software architecture for the aircraft Cargo System.
Qualifications You Must Have:- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

- Experience in Software Engineering to include experience working various phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment that requires communication with other engineering disciplines, Program, and external stakeholders
- Mentoring experience with junior engineers
- Experience with Software Development Using C/C++
- Experience with DO-178 and Software Certification
Qualifications We Prefer:- Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts
- Experience with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development Methodologies
- Experience with DevOps and automated testing
- Experience with Model Driven Development
- Experience with software integration on custom hardware

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
