Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering or related technical fields.
• 7-15 years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of optical components and fiber optic devices.
• Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in optical components and fiber optic technologies.
• Source and evaluate optical components for performance and cost.
• Build prototypes according to design specifications.
• Characterize and troubleshoot fiber optic devices.
• Generate documentation and technical reports for builds and tests.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures for manufacturing processes.
• Participate in product qualification and reliability testing.
