Title:Senior Pricing Specialist
NSS Pricing is seeking a
Senior Pricing Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. The selected individual will support NSS' Business Divisions to prepare compliant and competitive Price Proposals while collaborating with Finance, Contracts, Compensation and other allied functional support teams.
Key Responsibilities:Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Leads and/or manages major and complex cost proposals generally valued at $50M+
- Applies a broad knowledge of general financial analysis and Government proposal Pricing techniques to a variety complex business proposal solutions, primarily in support of professional services
- Draft and finalize Cost/Price proposal narratives to substantiate cost and pricing approach and data in compliance with all RFP Section L criteria
- Develops complex pricing strategies and performs risk and cash flow analyses as applicable
- Develops and presents price assumptions, financial summaries, and risk assessment to senior leadership prior to proposal submission
- Collaborate and support functional support staff from Contracts, Subcontracts, HR, Finance, etc. to deliver compliant and compelling price proposals
- Provides strategic focus to all proposal efforts to ensure alignment with Section M RFP criteria and support Business Unit growth/profit objectives
- Quality assurance review of proposals
Performs all other duties as assigned such as:
- Prepares special reports and analysis as required in support of audits and department administration
- Provides assistance to other pricing analysts during periods of surge demand
- Provides guidance for less experienced team members on compliance-related issues
Work Environment:- Location: Hybrid
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%.
- Working Hours: Standard workday with occasional non-standard work hours required.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelors degree and 5-8 years of direct federal government pricing experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of direct government pricing practices, cost and price analysis, and FAR and CAS regulations
- Experience managing subcontractor data calls and price proposals in support of prime contractor pricing strategy
- Cost/Price proposal narrative writing and subsequent experience responding to Pricing evaluation notices, final proposal revisions, etc.
- Comprehensive organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen to make sound financial analysis decisions/recommendations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced MS Excel skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:- Management and/or mentorship of junior to mid level pricing analysts
- Federal Government Price to Win analysis experience
- Top Secret / SCI clearance (TS/SCI)
Basic Compensation: $95,000.00 - 143,000.00
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
