Job Title: Manager, Contract Compliance & Pricing
Location:

Position Summary
Hanwha Defense USA's Shipbuilding team is seeking a Manager, Contract Compliance & Pricing to establish the government contract cost, pricing, and compliance foundation necessary to support new program bids for a shipyard entity entering government vessel work for the first time, and to ensure ongoing readiness for DCAA/DCMA audit and oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cost and pricing estimation for government contract bids, including proposals for new Navy shipbuilding programs.
  • Build compliance infrastructure - policies, procedures, and cost accounting practices - to support entry into CAS-covered work.
  • Prepare the organization for DCAA/DCMA audit engagement, including business systems reviews, incurred cost submissions, and forward pricing rate proposals.
  • Advise program, contracts, and finance leadership on FAR/DFARS/CAS requirements and their practical implications for bidding and contract execution.
  • Support development of indirect rate structures and cost pools appropriate for a newly formed government contracting entity.
  • Partner with Program Finance and Legal to ensure contract terms align with cost accounting and compliance requirements.

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of government contract compliance, cost accounting, or pricing experience gained on the contractor side (e.g., within a shipbuilder, prime contractor, or defense supply chain company), including hands-on ownership of CAS/FAR/DFARS compliance activities such as incurred cost submissions, rate structures, or DCAA/DCMA audit response.
  • Experience supporting proposal pricing and cost volume development for U.S. government bids.
  • Prior experience in shipbuilding, aerospace & defense, or complex manufacturing required.
  • Able to build compliance processes from scratch for an organization new to certain program types.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
