Job Summary
The Senior Power Platform Developer will design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI technologies. The role involves building Power Apps, automating business workflows, configuring Microsoft Dataverse, and developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. The developer will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions while ensuring compliance with established architecture, governance, security, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
• Build and maintain Power Apps solutions using Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
• Develop automated business workflows and integrations using Power Automate.
• Design and configure Microsoft Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and application data models.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Develop dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytical solutions using DAX and Power Query (M Language).
• Work with SQL Server and relational databases to support data integration, reporting, analytics, and application requirements.
• Integrate Power Platform applications with REST APIs, external applications, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Design solutions in accordance with established Power Platform architecture, governance, security, and ALM standards.
• Support the deployment and promotion of Power Platform solutions across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics, workflow, and application requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Work with Microsoft Azure services and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to support integrations and enterprise solution delivery.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, SQL, and system integrations.
• Participate in solution design reviews, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support activities.
• Develop reusable components, automation frameworks, and enterprise reporting standards where applicable.
Required Qualifications
• 6+ years of professional experience in Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI development.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
• Strong experience developing automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Experience designing and working with Microsoft Dataverse.
• Strong experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Experience developing analytical solutions using DAX and Power Query (M Language).
• Experience with SQL Server and relational database design.
• Strong understanding of Power Platform solution architecture, governance, security, and ALM.
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with REST APIs and external enterprise systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and solution-design skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
