Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Power/Logic App Engineer to analyze, reverse engineer, and rebuild complex Power Automate flows and Azure Logic Apps. The role focuses on supporting existing solutions, mapping workflow dependencies, and simplifying fragile processes to ensure operational stability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical curiosity, analytical skills, and a systematic approach to troubleshooting complex integrations.
Key Responsibilities
• Reverse engineer existing Power Automate flows and Azure Logic Apps by tracing triggers, subflow calls, loops, conditions, and variables.
• Document current-state architectures using detailed flow diagrams and dependency maps before implementing modifications.
• Identify and resolve root causes of intermittent workflow failures, API response cut-offs, and communication delivery issues.
• Consolidate and refactor nested subflows into simplified, testable components.
• Provide technical recommendations and effort estimates to determine whether existing solutions should be fixed, rebuilt, or migrated.
• Configure deployment pipelines and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) across environments.
• Extend monitoring and alerting systems to ensure workflow failures trigger shared notifications.
• Build reporting models and dashboards to provide visibility into system delivery tracking and performance.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience building Power Apps, with a strong background in taking over and refactoring complex workflows built by other developers.
• Proficiency in Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven applications.
• Deep knowledge of run history analysis, pagination, concurrency limits, retry policies, and workflow definition JSON.
• Experience with Power BI data modeling, REST APIs, and custom connectors.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Copilot Studio.
• Background in C# and .NET development, including Azure Functions.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or ServiceNow.
• Experience working in the aviation, travel, or Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) industries.
