Additional Information About the RoleIn this role, you'll partner with an Analyst to support quality clinical reporting, performance improvement, and operational initiatives across our clinics. You'll become the go-to resource for internal reporting and performance measures, helping leaders, providers, and staff understand what the data means, how it impacts their work, and where opportunities exist to improve quality clinical outcomes.
A large part of the role is building relationships and providing training in the field. You'll spend time with clinic teams, answering questions, coaching users on reporting tools, and helping drive adoption of best practices. You'll also support inquiries that come through a shared team mailbox and serve as a trusted resource for operational leaders.
This is a hybrid position, but it requires a strong onsite presence and regular travel to clinic locations. Compared to the Analyst role, this position is more focused on stakeholder engagement, education, and hands-on support with clinic teams.
Preferred QualificationsRole PurposeThe Senior Performance Measures Consultant provides performance measurement and analytical support by utilizing measurement and performance improvement skills to support clinical decision making. This position assists with coordinating the day-to-day operations of the quality team and produces actionable reports to identify opportunities for targeted, scalable interventions. This position also serves as the expert in Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and regulatory quality measures. The Senior Performance Measures Consultant evaluates, recommends, and monitors the implementation of best practice processes that focus on keeping our patients healthy, improve patient outcomes, and maintain a high quality of care. Additionally, this position provides subject matter expertise, training and on-boarding support, and issue escalation support for team members.
ResponsibilitiesCollects and analyzes provider quality performance data to identify trends and patterns in gaps of care; identifies and tracks the body of work that needs to be performed weekly to support quality reporting.Assists leaders and teams in establishing performance standards and metrics; identifies goals while ensuring that partnerships exist with other areas of the business; develops, implements, or refines workflows or data collection and management methods to ensure accurate measurement and tracking of process and improvement results.Supports effective medical record capture for HEDIS and quality measure medical record review and abstraction of supplemental data.Maintains strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements that impact the organization (e.g., MACRA, MIPS, eCQM, etc.)Assists co-workers and management by providing guidance to the quality team; provides subject matter expertise for peers, assists with training of performance and customer service standards, and assists with process or technology issue escalation.Minimum RequirementsEducationBachelor's Degree - Related field of study
