Strategic Operations & Lane Management
Lead network optimization initiatives by developing and managing high-density OTR lanes to balance headhaul and backhaul freight, reduce empty miles, and improve overall network efficiency.
Design and execute capacity strategies by building and maintaining a core network of vetted, high-performing carriers to ensure consistent service levels and operational reliability.
Source, evaluate, and onboard strategic carrier partners for high-volume and core lanes within a non-asset OTR brokerage environment.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex transportation and transit issues, including equipment failures, weather-related disruptions, service exceptions, and freight claims resolution.
Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications to monitor lane performance, carrier utilization, and operational KPIs.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance
Ensure all carrier partners meet FMCSA regulations and internal carrier qualification standards through comprehensive vetting and compliance oversight.
