Join our Rail & Transit team-an award-winning group recognized for excellence across North America-as you help shape the next generation of electrified rail systems. As a Senior OCS Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and delivering safe, reliable, modern electrification systems that move millions of people every day.

You will influence major rail projects, deliver complex OCS designs, and guide multidisciplinary teams working to modernize Canada's transportation future.

Your Impact
• Perform advanced technical calculations, including mechanical loading, support spacing, and clearance verification, to ensure safe and reliable designs.
• Analyze and interpret study results to support informed engineering decisions and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, systems, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of OCS elements into broader rail infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed OCS design drawings-plan and profile, cross-sections, and support arrangements-using MicroStation and related CAD tools.
• Develop technical specifications, bills of quantities (BOQs), and installation drawings for construction and procurement activities.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities, including review and development of commissioning procedures.
• Validate engineering drawings, calculations, technical specifications, and compliance reports for accuracy and adherence to regulatory expectations.
• Build trusted relationships with clients through clear communication, proactive technical guidance, and reliable project updates.
• Ensure compliance with North American electrification standards (AREMA, CSA, provincial regulations) and relevant international frameworks.

The Skills That Set You Apart
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical preferred); Master's degree considered an asset.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or eligible for licensure.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in rail or transit projects, specializing in OCS or railway electrification.
• Deep expertise in OCS design principles, standards (AREMA, CSA, EN), and rail safety frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead complex design packages, coordinate across disciplines, and deliver field-ready solutions.
• Proficiency in MicroStation and OCS-related software; experience with additional electrification analysis tools is an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams, guiding junior engineers, and supporting project execution in fast-paced environments.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $135,200 - $179,100
MB & ON: $123,300 - $169,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $122,100 - $162,200
