This role maintains the official working record of building space and occupancy, including stacking plans, space assignments, utilization analyses, and occupancy change tracking.
What You Will Do
- Maintain the working inventory of space by floor, suite, tenant, use, and occupancy status.
- Maintain stacking plans and occupancy diagrams, and reconcile floor plans, space assignments, occupancy records, and financial records.
- Track usable, rentable, assigned, shared, vacant, and unavailable space in accordance with industry and federal standards.
- Maintain employee population and occupancy estimates and support utilization analyses.
- Maintain records of planned moves, restacks, expansions, contractions, and new occupancies.
- Support preliminary blocking, test fit, and space scenario analyses, and coordinate drawing updates.
- Prepare recurring occupancy reports and executive dashboards, and support real property inventory and utilization reporting.
What You Need
- Five years of space, occupancy, workplace, or real estate data experience.
- Experience reconciling floor plans, space assignments, occupancy, and financial information.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet, database, visualization, and applicable drawing tools.
Nice to Have
- Working proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or a CAFM/IWMS platform such as Tririga, Archibus, or Manhattan.
- Experience applying BOMA or federal space measurement standards.
Additional Information
- This position is based on site in Washington, DC during core business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Employment is conditioned on the candidate receiving a favorable security investigation for unescorted access to a federal facility. Candidates who already hold a security clearance are encouraged to note it, though a clearance is not required for this role.
