Senior Mobile Software Engineer - iOS (Swift) / Android (Kotlin)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in native iOS and Android application development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Swift and/or Kotlin, mobile application architecture, and software development practices.
The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with customers to understand use cases, pain points, and business requirements, and advocate for user-centric software solutions.
Design, develop, test, and deliver software solutions using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, tools, and methodologies, including Agile.
Evaluate application requirements and determine suitable technology stacks, integration methods, and deployment strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and architects.
Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, policies, and processes.
Continuously improve application performance and optimize development efficiency by adopting new technologies.
Apply software engineering practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD).
Support security practices to protect user data, including encryption and anonymization.
Develop user-friendly and interactive interfaces.
Develop and maintain backend applications, including APIs and microservices.
Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to deliver effective software solutions.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of overall IT experience.
8+ years of software development experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience in native mobile application development.
6+ years of hands-on experience developing mobile applications using Swift in the iOS development ecosystem and/or Kotlin in the Android development ecosystem.
3+ years of experience in mobile frontend application architecture, including modular application design, state management, and navigation strategies.
Strong programming experience in two coding languages or advanced proficiency in one programming language.
Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
Bachelor's degree.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid work arrangement.
Onsite work required four days per week, Monday through Thursday.
Candidates must be available to work onsite as required.
