Senior Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join an established engineering firm in the New York City area. In this role, you will design HVAC and mechanical systems for building projects and lead work from early design through construction. Responsibilities include performing load calculations, selecting and sizing equipment, preparing construction documents, coordinating with clients and other design disciplines, reviewing submittals, and providing support during construction. You will also mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, significant building design experience (healthcare project experience strongly preferred), and a PE license. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and knowledge of applicable codes and standards are required. Strong communication and project management skills are important.
