Job Description:

We have an opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager - West Division - to join Pool marketing team. You will lead field, regional and loyalty marketing activation across an assigned Division. This is a senior commercial marketing role responsible for building and executing division marketing strategy, product launch and adoption priorities and growth plays into high-impact, in-market execution with dealers, distributors, sales teams, and regional partners. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, Pool, with a dotted-line partnership to the assigned Division Leader, this role will serve as the connective tissue between centralized marketing Centers of Excellence and the field. The Division Senior Marketing Manager will lead the teams and programs that activate marketing at the point of impact, helping dealers grow their businesses while accelerating Pentair's product adoption, new dealer acquisition, dealer retention, loyalty engagement, brand preference, and revenue growth. This leader will own the Division marketing plan, align programs to commercial priorities and build a high-performing, accountable field marketing model that brings together regional events, localized demand generation, co-op execution, in-market brand building, merchandising, sales enablement, loyalty activation, customer onboarding and dealer growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is a marketing leader who understands B2B2C channel dynamics, dealer networks, two-step distribution, account-based marketing, loyalty programs, and localized demand generation. They are equally comfortable shaping strategy with senior leaders, building growth playbooks with sales, coaching field marketers and measuring ROI across campaigns, events, promotions, and dealer activation programs.

You will:
  • Lead the Division marketing strategy and execution in partnership with the CMO, Division Leader, and Sales leadership to drive profitable growth, market share, and customer engagement.
  • Own localized go-to-market plans that accelerate product launches, product adoption, customer acquisition, dealer retention, and loyalty.
  • Serve as an extension of Dealers,' Retailers' and Distributors' marketing programs, collectively and collaborative working together to help build both their businesses and Pentair's brand in their respective markets driving awareness, conversion, and revenue.
  • Lead and develop Regional Marketing and Loyalty Marketing teams, fostering a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and commercial impact.
  • Partner closely with Division and Regional Sales leaders to identify growth opportunities, prioritize investments, and execute customer-focused growth plays across key markets and accounts.
  • Own regional demand generation, dealer activation, events, education programs, co-op marketing, merchandising, sponsorships, and sales enablement initiatives that influence revenue growth and customer loyalty.
  • Serve as the primary connection between the field and Marketing Centers of Excellence, ensuring brand consistency while delivering localized solutions that meet customer and market needs.
  • Champion the dealer, distributor, and customer experience by leveraging insights, loyalty programs, training, communications, and marketing programs that increase engagement and share of wallet.
  • Manage the Division marketing budget and resources, ensuring investments are aligned with strategic priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Use a customer-segmented, account-based approach to prioritize marketing investment by region, dealer opportunity, customer type, and growth potential.
  • Monitor and optimize marketing performance through data-driven decision making, reporting on KPIs including product adoption, customer acquisition, retention, lead generation, engagement, and ROI.
  • Build localized brand experiences through events, sponsorships, partnerships, dealer activations, trade shows, retail/distributor environments, digital campaigns, and community-based opportunities.
  • Act as the Voice of the Customer and Voice of the Field, providing insights and recommendations that influence marketing strategy, product commercialization, customer experience, and future growth initiatives.
  • Travel Required: up to 75%


Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field required. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in B2B, B2B2C, channel, dealer, distribution, field marketing, customer marketing, demand generation or commercial marketing roles.
  • 3 to 5+ years of leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to lead dispersed, cross-functional, or field-based teams.
  • Experience working in two-step distribution, dealer networks, franchise models, contractor channels, building products, automotive, HVAC, home services, industrial products, pool and outdoor living, consumer durables or other adjacent B2B2C ecosystems strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience building and executing go-to-market plans, product launch activation, growth campaigns, field marketing programs, customer acquisition programs, and retention strategies.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales and commercial leaders to align marketing activity with revenue, share-of-wallet, adoption, and customer growth goals.
  • Experience managing budgets, agencies, vendors, events, local media, sponsorships, co-op programs, or MDF-like programs.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, lead management, marketing automation, data-driven campaign measurement, and performance reporting.
  • Experience using customer insights, segmentation, VOC, market trends, and competitive intelligence to shape marketing plans.
  • Experience with loyalty, rewards, dealer advocacy, customer engagement, or preferred account-based marketing programs.
  • Experience commercializing connected products, digital tools, app-enabled products, or service-based offerings a plus.
  • Commercially oriented marketer with strong business acumen and a clear understanding of how marketing drives growth.
  • Strong field instincts, with the ability to understand what dealers, distributors, sales teams, and end customers need to take action.
  • Excellent strategic planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to influence without direct authority across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and external partners.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into insight, action, and investment decisions.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $95500 - $177300 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
