What You Will Do:
  • Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations in Surface Mount (SMT) production area, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are achieved.
  • Manage, coach, and develop manufacturing employees while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor production schedules, prioritize work, and optimize workflow to meet customer commitments and operational objectives.
  • Drive quality compliance by ensuring manufacturing processes, documentation, and products meet established standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to resolve production issues and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Monitor production performance through data analysis, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, process optimization, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
  • Support manufacturing innovation initiatives, including automation, digital transformation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Interface with internal and external customers to resolve production concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies while supporting employee engagement and operational excellence.


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

  • Exposure to ERP systems, SAP preferred.
  • Proven success developing and leading a team.
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma.

  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, automated environment.
  • Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
