The Visual Storytelling & Messaging Expert serves as the creative engine for executive leadership, bridging the gap between complex technical product narratives and high-impact visual delivery. You are the storyteller of the key messages, transforming abstract strategic initiatives into clear, compelling, and visually resonant narratives for sales, customers, and industry. 

Visual Narrative Strategy:

  • Translate vision and complex technical roadmaps and messages into cohesive, audience-specific visual experiences.

  • Standardize visual delivery by creating and managing a reusable asset and content library.

  • Partner with your leadership, Executive Communications and Marketing to drive key narratives delivered via speaking engagements and easy to follow assets, ensuring content resonates for internal and external audiences.

  • Streamline creative workflows with leadership to ensure 90%+ on-time delivery and on target messaging for presentations and assets.

Messaging Architecture & Stewardship:

  • Serve as the primary steward for messaging, ensuring visual assets and accompanying narratives are in lockstep regarding tone, values, and clarity.

  • Develop and maintain a "Visual Messaging Playbook" that defines how we visualize key concepts across all enablement collateral.

  • Simplify messaging to drive clarity and alignment on company and business organization direction.

Executive Creative Collaboration:

  • Act as the strategic creative partner, collaborating across teams as a "whiteboard partner" for rapid brainstorming sessions.

  • Be expert in designing high quality presentations, assets, and imagery; while being able to create art direction for designers or creative agencies when appropriate/

  • Establish and manage feedback loops that reduce revision cycles

Core Competencies & Traits:

  • The "Double-Threat" Skillset: Mastery of both the message (copywriting, narrative arc) and the medium (high-fidelity design in Google Slides, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma). Strong with words and expert and expert at design.

  • Executive Agility: High comfort level with ambiguity and rapid timeline shifts. You thrive when asked to "whiteboard" a concept 24 hours before a major stage event.

  • Translational Intelligence: The ability to take a deeply technical "product-first" slide and pivot it to a "value-first" customer narrative without losing accuracy.

  • Visual Facilitation: Adept at whiteboard and extracting ideas from brainstorming sessions to clear, simple narratives and strong visuals. 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • 10 -15 years experience in messaging, storytelling for software, platform or services business

  • 8+ years in creative and visual design

  • Expert in Google Slides, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma

  • Excellent experience in video editing

  • Strong Relationship builder: Proven track record of building trust across teams to surface Customer Success stories on our latest initiatives
