Senior Manager Supply Chain Optimization

Location: White Plains, New York, United States

Function: Supply Chain

About the Role:

The Senior Manager Supply Chain Optimization leads the supply chain optimization capability across HUSA Operations, translating business and Operations priorities into a roadmap of cost savings, network and process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives / projects. The role is accountable for identifying and prioritizing opportunities, developing fact-based recommendations, leading complex cross-functional projects, and delivering measurable improvements in cost, service, inventory, productivity, resilience and sustainability. The role combines strong problem-solving capability, Supply Chain and analytical expertise with project leadership and stakeholder influence, while developing and establishing scalable optimization methodologies and ways of working. The role enables partnering across Planning, Warehousing, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, Procurement and other internal and external functions to build alignment, implement transformation initiatives and embed scalable methodologies. The role also supports team and organizational capability by coaching resources, developing reusable tools and standards, and strengthening continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Optimization capability
  • Own and continuously strengthen optimization methodologies, analytical tools, scenario-planning approaches and cost-to-serve capabilities
  • Identify structural and performance opportunities across the end-to-end supply chain and convert them into a prioritized pipeline of initiatives / projects
  • Use internal and external benchmarks to identify performance gaps, challenge current ways of working and recommend improvement priorities
  • Prioritize initiatives / projects based on strategic fit, business value, feasibility, risk and resource requirements
  • Establish initiatives / projects governance, milestones, ownership and benefit tracking
  • Partner with Finance and functional Teams to validate business cases and quantify benefits

2. Network design and strategic analysis
  • Lead network and product-flow analysis across sources, ports, warehousing, transportation and customers to identify optimization and continuity opportunities
  • Develop and challenge scenario models and business cases that evaluate cost, service, inventory, capacity, risk, resilience and sustainability trade-offs
  • Provide clear recommendations to Operations Leadership and explain assumptions, alternatives, risks, resiliency, sustainability and trade-offs
  • Support strategic sourcing, footprint and network decisions with robust quantitative analysis and implementations planning

3. Performance Management and Continuous Improvement
  • Use supply chain performance data and loss deployment to identify systemic causes of cost, service and productivity gaps
  • Apply TPM continuous improvement methodology to develop sustainable solutions and embed improved ways of working

4. Stakeholder Leadership, decision influence and Team capability
  • Lead cross-functional problem solving across Planning, Logistics, Warehousing, Customer Service, Finance, Procurement and other relevant functions / Teams
  • Influence Leadership Team and key stakeholders by translating complex analysis into clear business implications, recommendations and decisions required
  • Build alignment around optimization recommendations where trade-offs exist across functions or stakeholders
  • Communicate initiatives / projects' progress, business value, risks and opportunities to Operations Leadership and key stakeholders
  • Lead, coach, and develop optimization resources and subject-matter experts, establishing clear objectives and accountability for results
  • Delegate meaningful ownership of workstreams and orchestrate resources capable of independently leading complex initiatives
  • Build documentation, standards, governance, training materials, and knowledge-transfer practices that reduce dependency on individual experts
  • Promote a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, accountability, business ownership, and fact-based decision making


Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

The role requires a driven and analytically minded professional with these necessary capabilities to ensure the successful delivery of the role requirements and deliver sustainable business value.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of progressive Operations / Supply Chain experience, including meaningful experience in optimization, network design, analytics, continuous improvement or transformation
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional projects and delivering measurable business outcomes
  • Strong analytical and business-case capability, including scenario analysis, cost-to-serve, financial evaluation and benefit tracking
  • Strong project and portfolio management skills with ability to prioritize competing opportunities and drive execution through stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leaders and translate complex analysis into clear recommendations
  • Working knowledge of modern supply chain modeling, analytics and decision-support technologies


Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPG / beverage industry experience and exposure to complex domestic or international supply chains
  • Experience with network optimization platforms, Power BI, Palantir, SAP, AI/ML or comparable digital supply chain technologies
  • APICS, IBF, Lean Six Sigma, TPM, project/program management or comparable certification
  • Experience coaching or leading analysts, managers, project teams or subject-matter experts
  • Experience supporting sourcing, footprint, logistics or major supply chain investment decisions


Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000 + Annual Bonus
