Job Title: Senior Manager, Supply Chain

The Impact You'll Make

Now is a great time to join our Danfoss Power Solutions Team in Freeport! We are seeking to hire an experienced Senior Manager, Supply Chain who will Interpret demands, plan, prepare and communicate schedules to vendors and internal work areas for manufacture of industrial or commercial products. The ideal candidate will have an organized, personable leadership style and ability to solve complex supply chain issues. This is an onsite role with a salary range of 120-160K based on experience and industry knowledge.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage the FPT Supply Chain team
  • Contact to customers and supplier sharing demand and requirements
  • Customer Lead-Time and Fulfilment model development and management
  • Distribution Strategy development and execution
  • Work on continuous improvement of all related Supply Chain processes in close cooperation with related functions
  • Ensure and participate in FPT S&OP facilitation
  • Ensure production planning and tactical purchasing meets the demand from the customers
  • Monitor and manage the information and material flow from supplier to customer
  • Ensure optimal planning and maintenance of inventory levels of components and finished goods
  • Establish KPI targets in line with BU targets and ensure frequent reporting for the Supply Chain functions. Perform regular review meetings
  • Work on continuous improvement of processes with functions such as Product Management, Customer Service, Global Shared Services, Freight Management, Procurement and Category Management
  • Initiate and participate in projects to leverage Supply Chain excellence as well as supporting the Business Unit goals and initiatives
  • Ensure continuous development and coaching of all team members


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or other related disciplines OR related experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • 7 or more years of experience in a leadership role in Supply Chain or other related Business area
  • APICS certification or similar highly desired
  • Proven leadership skills within strategy development, budgeting, target setting, people and task management and project management
  • Ability to work in a virtual and global matrixed environment
  • Creative, self-driven, responsible, and composed in stressful situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, internally and externally, across various functions
  • Experienced in process management in areas of Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Knowledgeable with SAP and MS Office systems
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally (10%)
  • Ability to manage risk and work extended hours, as needed
