General Summary:Develops, provides, and executes sourcing strategies, options, working with internal customers to conclude decisions based on technology, cost and schedule requirements, and then drives procurement to completion. Drives business aspects of complex, high impact supplier agreements in collaboration with suppliers and internal cross-functional organizations. Responsible for contract negotiations, cost, technology enablement, device development, and services to ensure capacity and supply assurance.
Job Responsibilities - Manage strategic supplier relationships with Qualcomm Test suppliers to support custom Test Equipment and Hardware
- Negotiate cost, lead RFQs, manage contracts & Master Purchase Agreements; provide sourcing recommendations.
- Develop a blended strategy for Test Hardware, Equipment and Outsourced manufacturing based on forecast, capacity, location, and total cost.
- Partner with product test engineering to define Test roadmaps and ensure supplier execution to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure test readiness for NPI and HVM.
- Develop processes to drive suppliers to deliver to Qualcomm's specifications and meet cost targets.
- Own supply readiness and key deliverables from NPI through production ramp.
Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Sourcing or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 8+ years of Sourcing or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Sourcing or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- 8+ years of semiconductor sourcing experience supporting test equipment and hardware suppliers (PCB, SMT, sockets, and probe cards).
- Strong supplier management, strategic sourcing, and negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of ATE, SLT, and burn-in technologies.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into business decisions and sourcing strategies.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
- Experience collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program Management teams.
- Proven track record of driving complex projects to successful completion.
- Experienced in ROI analysis, should-cost modeling, and business case development.
Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00
