Position Summary...What you'll do...Walmart is seeking a highly experienced
Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of
Walmart US SAP Payroll systems, with a strong focus on SAP HCM Payroll and related HR technologies. The ideal candidate brings
20+ years of SAP functional and HR ABAP technical hands on expertise, combined with proven leadership in large-scale enterprise payroll transformations, system modernization, and cloud adoption strategies.
This leader will guide engineering teams, collaborate with HR/payroll business stakeholders, ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, and deliver high-quality, highly scalable payroll solutions for one of the world's largest workforces.
What you'll do: - Timely execution of a product and technical roadmap, beyond delivering for the business we are always looking at improving robustness and quality of our application.
- Working closely with partners across disciplines. We work very closely with product design as well as engineering partners across multiple teams, to succeed in this role you truly must be a team player and fantastic partner.
- Being hands on in the career of the associates that report to you. This involves hiring, providing growth opportunities, encouraging and mentoring engineers as well as providing timely feedback on their performance.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 7 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
2 years' supervisory experience.
