As part of Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement at AvidXchange supports our Sales and Marketing teams, including Direct Sales, Channel/Partner Sales, BDR/SDR and Solution Consultant teammates. As Senior Manager, you will build and lead a team of three individual contributors and own the strategy that turns product launches, new-hire onboarding and coaching into measurable seller behavior. The role works hand in hand with Product Marketing and Product on launch readiness and equips frontline managers to coach their teams. Project management and organization are central to the job: this role owns the enablement calendar for launches, onboarding cohorts and partner programs, aligned to the product release calendar set by Product. This is a builder role: you'll stand up the team, own the vision and playbook for enablement and optimize as the organization grows.
What you will doSales enablement strategy and operating model
- Run the full lifecycle of enablement programs, from intake to execution to reinforcement to measuring success, using repeatable, scalable frameworks that keep every program consistent as the field and product line grow.
- Own the Sales Enablement strategy and tie it to revenue priorities, with playbooks and success measures, including win rate, deal velocity and quota attainment, defined across the team.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product and Product Marketing leadership to ensure alignment and prioritization of the roadmap.
- Oversee the strategy across your team of three individual contributors to ensure alignment and prioritization meets the needs of the organization.
Team leadership
- Build the team from the ground up, hiring, developing and leading two Senior Sales Enablement Managers and a Sales Enablement Manager.
- Give each team member clear ownership of a program area, such as product launches, onboarding or partner enablement, set quarterly goals and coach them on execution quality and stakeholder management.
- Lead how the team uses AI, including tools such as Claude, to drive efficiency: repeatable workflows for content creation, reinforcement and reporting that scale across the field.
Product launch readiness
- Own launch enablement strategy and partner with Product Marketing and Product leaders on readiness, with a dedicated team member leading day-to-day execution.
- Set the training and reinforcement approach for each launch based on its size and impact, from live and virtual sessions to one-sheeters and recorded content, and determine the communication calendar as it relates to the broader roadmap.
- Define adoption metrics, including training completion and use of sales materials, and report results back to stakeholders.
Partner enablement
- Set the direction for the train-the-trainer program, with the team building and delivering sessions that equip frontline managers to own follow-up and coaching with external partners.
- Partner with Partnerships leaders to define what each tier receives. The team builds and delivers partner programs so channel and alliance managers have what they need to support their partners.
Onboarding and measurement
- Own the onboarding strategy for revenue-facing teammates and set a standard schedule and curriculum across teams, with the team running cohorts and building content day to day.
- Determine the certification programs new hires must complete for each role, such as product, messaging and pitch certifications, and set the standard for when a new hire is ready to sell.
- Partner on onboarding success metrics with sales leadership and RevOps, such as ramp time and time to first deal, and direct the team's improvements based on results.
