Description
The Role
The Senior Manager, New Partner Development is ATG's single leader for new-logo acquisition across North America - the first point of accountability for growing the number of auction houses on our platforms, across every vertical we serve. This is not a segment-specific role; you own the strategy, team, and results for bringing new partners into ATG's shared success model, whether they're an industrial and commercial auctioneer or an art and antiques auction house. You will build and lead a team of Partner Development Managers, build the infrastructure and processes, set the playbook for how ATG identifies and wins new partners, and be the connective layer between the new Partners joining the platforms and the Partner Management organization that grows those relationships once they're won. Success in this role means delivering a well-oiled New Business Department; effective collaboration with Sales Operations, Salesforce Development, Analytics, Product, Marketing and Executive Team and a steady well-qualified flow of high quality new partners entering ATG's ecosystem.
Why This Role Matters
This role sets the tone for how ATG engages with potential new partners; structured, professional GTM strategy sits at the cornerstone of what this role Is accountable for. Every partner ATG serves starts as a new-logo win. The Senior Manager, New Partner Development owns that starting point for the whole of North America - across every vertical - and lays the table for the shared success model before a partner ever meets their Partner Manager.
Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Build the department's infrastructure. Stand up the systems, reporting, and processes New Partner Development runs on, and define how the function interlocks with the rest of the business - Partner Management, Marketing, Analytics, Salesforce Development, Product, and Commercial Strategy & Operations - so it operates as a connected part of ATG's commercial organization, not a siloed team.
Own new-logo acquisition across North America. Set and deliver the strategy, pipeline targets, and results for new partner acquisition spanning both I&C and A&A - the single leader accountable for growing ATG's partner base across all verticals in the region.
Build and lead the Partner Development Manager team. Recruit, coach, and manage a team of Partner Development Managers, setting the standard for prospecting, qualification, and closing across a diverse, multi-vertical territory.
Design the playbook. Build the repeatable process, messaging, and qualification criteria that let the team win efficiently across different verticals - recognizing that an I&C prospect and an A&A prospect need different approaches, even under one strategy.
Own the pipeline. Drive rigorous pipeline management and forecasting, using data to know where the team stands against target at all times and to course-correct early when a segment or territory is underperforming.
Establish Performance Management. Set the bar for execution and manage to it.
Champion the shared success model from day one. Ensure every new partner is brought on with the right expectations and foundation, so the relationship is set up to grow - not just to close.
Hand off for growth. Partner closely with Partner Management leadership (I&C and A&A) to ensure a clean, well-documented transition from new business to long-term relationship ownership, so momentum isn't lost at the handoff.
Lead with data. Use market, pipeline, and win/loss data to identify where the greatest untapped opportunity sits across North America, and direct the team's effort accordingly rather than spreading it evenly.
Represent new business at the executive table. As a direct report to the EVP, Sales, bring the voice of the market - what's winnable, what's not, and what ATG needs to change to win more - into executive strategy discussions.
Partner cross-functionally. Work with Marketing and Product to sharpen GTM, messaging, and competitive positioning across verticals.
